There is no useful overall winner here because these four stoves optimise different parts of the same problem.
For fast movement and the lowest possible carried stove weight, the Snow Peak LiteMax makes the clearest argument. At 56 grams, its advantage is measurable rather than theoretical. Pair it with a small titanium pot and a simple boil-only routine and very little needs to be added.
The compromise begins when conditions stop being simple.
For wind, changing temperatures and longer trips, the SOTO WindMaster is the more complete piece of equipment. Its extra weight buys something tangible: a pressure-regulated burner, excellent flame control and one of the most convincing wind-management architectures in this class. With the smaller optional TriFlex support, the weight gap also becomes considerably narrower.
The MSR PocketRocket Deluxe sits between those positions. It does not achieve the minimalism of the LiteMax or quite the specialised wind-focused architecture of the WindMaster, but that is also its strength. Pressure regulation, integrated ignition, low weight and straightforward construction make it the easiest stove here to place into almost any conventional lightweight backpacking setup.
The Primus Firestick Ti is the specialist of a different kind. Its advantage appears when equipment has to pack cleanly rather than simply weigh less. The closed cylindrical structure is especially logical in bikepacking bags, small frame bags or tightly organised kits where loose burner arms are undesirable.
